UCI offers a number of internship opportunities and programs. The Division of Career Pathway’s Handshake contains links to a wide variety of internship resources and opportunities across campus. Here are some internship programs available to UCI students:

July 21 st, 2025 - August 15 th, 2025. The UCI Ethics Center selects a few promising students for a mentoring program each summer. We plan a full online program again in 2025, open to qualified college, graduate, and high school students worldwide.

CEB runs a year-long internship program open to UC Irvine undergraduates of all majors. UC Irvine student interns receive academic credit through Bio Sci 197: CEB Internship (Dr. Kimball is listed as the Instructor of Record) and may additionally receive credit through Bio Sci 199, ESS 198, or ESS 199.

MLIS Internships. UCI Libraries offer unpaid internships for students enrolled in American Library Association (ALA) accredited library and information science graduate programs.
