2002年7月11日 · My original internal auditor training was done by a consultant group that was helping our company get registered. It was a two day course given in-house. I then went on my own to a 16 hour lead auditor class. The internal auditor class was to me the most beneifical (excellent teacher). I also did a lot of reading and self study.

2023年1月6日 · I've also seen where thousands of dollars were spent by organizations for internal auditor training and the results were absolute *rap! I audit internal audits all the time (did one today in fact that was marginal but OK) and it's not the training, it's the expectations, the attitudes involved, the value desired, and utilization of the results.

I have a new group of internal auditors and I thought it would be a good training opportunity if they could each shadow our external auditor for an hour or so. My Quality Rep disagrees. I found the course very informative and passed the practical and written exam comfortably, as I too found it to be common sense.
