Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology – MeitY, with the long-term vision of improving skilled manpower in the areas of micro and nanoelectronics had established the Indian Nanoelectronics Users’ Programme (INUP) about a decade back.

After the huge success of this Programme, and the opening of MeiTy initiated nano-centers at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras in 2011 and IIT Guwahati in 2015, it is decided to launch the Indian Nanoelectronics Users' Programme - Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i) in 2021 to take the 'open national nano-centers' concept to next stage.

The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP) intends to facilitate experimentation of research ideas of Indian researchers in the general area of nanoelectronics. CeNSE-IISc, Bengaluru is inviting applications for INUP-i2i Hands-on Training on Nanofabrication and Characterization Techniques (Level 2).

Indian Nanoelectronics User’s Programme – Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i), supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), GOI, offers the basic and advance level training programs to the prospective users working in the general area of nanoelectronics.

The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP) was conceived and supported by MeitY and the Office of the PSA as an integral part of the initiative of establishing a Centre for Excellence in Nanoelectronics (CEN) at both IISc and IIT Bombay in 2006. Visit Central INUP-i2i Website.
