I think the Guard recruiters try to sell IPAP as the ultimate deal - no student debt and back in civilian practice soon after commissioning. But they have VERY limited availability in terms of seats, so your chances are very dependent on your particular state.

2016年2月26日 · I'm an IPAP grad, 2010 and helped a guy get in in 2012. Your stats look good. It's honestly hard to say what gets picked up each cycle/year. I was a former active duty Infantry officer with mediocre grades my first time in school but straight A's when I went for pre-reqs at 30.

I have been told that there are waivers for service time which are frequently given. From the threads on here, it sounds as if the IPAP program is extremely competitive (350 applicants for 60 seats).

This option provides a great oportunity to do what I have been trying to for the last 3 years. My question is I do know the Coast Guard sends applicants to IPAP as well.
