The University of Minnesota Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial and Materials Engineering (IPRIME) is a university/industry partnership that includes a consortium of companies supporting fundamental, collaborative research on materials with University members.

Industrial Partners at all levels of membership enjoy access to the password-protected areas of the IPRIME website; participation in the Annual Meetings , short courses and informal meetings; and reduced user fees at participating supporting facilities .

IPRIME members have access to instrument use and/or analysis services through research conducted at the following supporting facilities. IPRIME works within six Research Programs. Several of these programs also receive support from the National Science Foundation via the University’s Materials Research Science and Engineering Center ( MRSEC ).
