Iron Maiden (born as Melina Vostokova; Melina Von Vostokoff; Мелина Востокова) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Ralph Macchio and George Pérez, the character first appeared in Marvel Fanfare #11 (November 1983).

As the Black Widow defected to the West, Vostokoff became an independent assassin and mercenary, the mysterious Iron Maiden. For years, she nurtured a deep grudge and hatred against the Black Widow due to being forced to live in her shadow.

In the comics, Melina Vostokoff is an agent of the Russian Government who eventually left Russia to become a freelance mercenary and assassin, codenamed Iron Maiden. Melina enjoys caviar and champagne.
