2025年1月8日 · Iris (イリス, Irisu) is an ancient Gyaos mutation kaiju who appeared in the 1999 Gamera film Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. Iris was Gamera's final foe in the Heisei trilogy, and shares some sort of genetic connection to his arch-enemy Gyaos.

He serves as the main antagonist kaiju from the third & final film in the Heisei Gamera trilogy, Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. Iris is the last, and possibly toughest, opponent Gamera fought in the Heisei Gamera Trilogy. His physical appearance harkens back to the tentacled entities of the Cthulhu Mythos.

Iris (Japanese: イリス), also spelt as Irys, is an ancient Gyaos mutation kaiju and the overarching antagonist of the Heisei Gamera trilogy, though its only appearance was in the final film of the trilogy, Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, where it served as the film's titular main antagonist.

Iris (イリス Irisu) is an ancient Gyaos mutation kaiju who is an ancient enemy of Gamera created by Antlantis that was prophesied by ancient civilizations. Iris originated as a modified gyaos, one of many experiments created by the Atlanteans as a defense against other kaiju like Godzilla and Legendary Godzilla.

Description: This kin of Gyaos is one of most powerful opponents of Gamera, who had to evolve his plasma manipulation to new levels to beat her. As an infant, Iris used her tentacles to suck the life force out of other creatures that she came across. When she has absorbed enough life energy, she can transform into her adult form.
