His father is black and American, but relatively light skinned, hence Isaiah's appearance. It's possible that there is jewish blood somewhere along the line. edit: upon further research his father is actually German, but born from an American military serviceman and a German mother.

The first piece of evidence is simply Hartenstein's play in the G-League. Hartenstein was the Youngest G-League FMVP. He was the best player on the best team as a 20-21 year old in a league of Men who were all College stars. If Hartenstein was Nikola Jokic sent to the G-League this is probably what we would expect to see from Jokic.
