2021年3月3日 · Isgilde showed to unprecedented success with Kenny in the regular working division, including five Devon championships, and with Sallie in the amateur-owner classes until the ripe age of 17, when they retired her. They tried to breed her a few times, but unsuccessfully, so Isgilde lived to the age of 35 in a field at Cismont Manor.

They have fond memories of the mare, who lived into her 30s and is buried on the farm. Isgilde had a remarkable show career with both Kenny Sr. and Sallie Wheeler–she was the hunter of the 60s and 70s.

Isgilde was the Regular Working Hunter Champion at The Garden in 1963 and Inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame in 1999. She was the only champion hunter that Kenny Wheeler refused to sell.
