Started in 2023, the Jones Bootmaker (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards is a comedy awards at the Edinburgh Fringe where volunteer judges see all eligible shows and award three prizes - Best Show, Best Newcomer and a Panel Prize.

The ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards are presented to the comedy shows deemed to have been the best at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Established in 2023, awards are given to Best Show, Best Newcomer and a Panel Prize and are judged by a panel of judges [1] on a voluntary basis who see all eligible comedy shows. [2]

Thirty-eight Fringe shows are now in the running for the Best Show title, with twenty-two up for Best Newcomer, whittled down from "around 700" eligible shows at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe .
