Kimura began that journey after his last fight, Itagaki may take a while yet. Morikawa wants to highlight the weight of motivation in the performance of a boxer. Why everyone hated itagaki i didnt read the manga fully
2020年8月12日 · Itagaki is cocky, obnoxious, over confident and him being made this overpowered especially when Ippo, the protagonist in his division is chucked to the corner, makes people hate him more. There’s also the part where he tries to hit on Kumi which again can be disrespectful especially considering his relationship with Ippo.

2018年6月25日 · Therefore, we have to pit a prime Martinez against Itagaki and, in my honest opinion, it doesn't matter how fast Itagaki is or can be, he can and will be pinned down. Imai proved it in their title match and KO'ed him brutally. Not to mention, he was also KO'ed by Randy Boy Jr. in two rounds of sparring.

Itagaki vs Imai I is one of the best fights in the series
2023年4月28日 · The fight is not drawn out beyond its logical conclusion. Imai measured his expectations with this particular opponent, Itagaki, to disarm him of his confidence. The author showed how he had a clear intent to stop his win streak and momentum before he became too dangerous. I have no regrets, only hopes for young Manabu's maturation.
After over 20 years. What are your guys' opinion on Itagaki
For one point of view itagaki lost 2 two times already against imai and doesn't know what to do to win, even ippo wasn't sure about itagaki ability against imai. It wasn't just a challenging fight because of the physique of both of them but also a mentally fight because both of them wanted to show that they were truly boxers
