Iuz is the cambion child of the demon prince Graz'zt and Iggwilv, the so-called "Witch Queen of Perrenland." He is an ally, and sometimes lover of, Zuggtmoy, Demon Queen of Fungi, who keeps his soul amulet safe in her layer of the Abyss. His half-sister Drelnza, a vampire daughter of Iggwilv, was slain by adventurers.

Iuz is the cambion demigod of deceit, oppression, and pain. He is often called The Old One or The Evil. Unlike most deities and demigods, Iuz lives in the Material Plane, as the ruler of a large eastern country called The Empire of Iuz.

2023年2月2日 · In the Glossography, Iuz is listed as a Cleric 16 and Assassin 16. Assassins in 1E are a variant thief class in this edition and have the ability to "assassinate" (of course) and do thievely stuff like sneak around (as a 14th level thief).

2022年8月18日 · Iuz can appear as a 7'-tall, red-skinned, steely-fingered fiend, or as a shriveled old man five feet in height (he can take many forms; these are simply his habitual ones). In his taller, demonic form, Iuz usually wields a great two-handed sword +3 named Demon Claw.

2020年2月17日 · One thing you might consider is the relationship (allies/lovers) between Iuz and Zuggtmoy, the Demon Queen of Fungi. There is an ongoing Abyssal incursion in the Drowned Forest due to cultists of Zuggtmoy. This is outlined in GoS pp 24-25.

2015年1月4日 · Shapechanger: Iuz can appear as a medium sized old man or as a large or huge demonic cambion in golden and black plate armor. In his old man form, Iuz can use his spittle and claws. In his cambion form he can use his +3 huge greatsword and plate armor. Other statistics other than size remain the same no matter his form.
