2015年6月21日 · I had to change the IVM on my 750 today. I had been having random faults associated with the CanBus system, & random starting problems. The IVM finally bit the dust today & the engine would not start at all. After reviewing all of my faults with no success, I changed the IVM & the engine fired right off.

2015年10月3日 · The Integrated Supply Module (Module A6009) was only used on E60, E61, E63, and E64 with the N62 engine. No 525, 528, 530, 535, M5, or M6 used it. It is primarily a relay box feeding the DME which is not needed for our cars with the mss65 DME.

2018年1月9日 · My E60 is produced in 2008. Does this model has IVM? According to this diagram, there's a fuseblock under the hood, but I don't think it's called the IVM. Possibly the DDE main relay (K2003a in these pages) could be affected by under-hood heat, and not want to close & run the engine until it's cooled down. @NoQuarter, thank you very much.

2015年5月10日 · The reason was "Transmission Fault Drive Moderately, with all of the gears showing on the dash". After some research I concluded that the culprit was the notorious Integrated Supply Module or IVM. This is a $100 part that is a common problem from the factory.

2023年9月30日 · BMW Integrated supply module IVM (ISM) - Replacement and Location This module is often associated with transmission problems where the transmission may only go into P N R 3rd and 5th gears. I replaced this IVM module with new one on my BMW e60 and the problem was solved.

Probably you heard about IVM failure main symptom: -it will not start when you press the button, like no cranking at all, but it might start the next time or in few secs. It also might throw few errors in CAS because it didn’t start.
