Izola (Slovene pronunciation: [ˈíːzɔla] ⓘ; Italian: Isola) is a town in southwestern Slovenia on the Adriatic coast of the Littoral traditional region. It is the seat of the Municipality of Izola and is one of the three major towns of Slovenian Istria.

Once an island, the town is renowned for its fishing, winemaking, olive-growing and fish-processing traditions. The medieval town, with its narrow streets and church on a hilltop, charms with its many parks and eight beaches. Next to the town, where you'll find a vibrant inner harbor (called "mandrač"), there is now also a marina.
