Now there is also a radiator fan with 2 fans for the high-powered cars like the GTI and the R (1.4 TSI 132 kW and 2.0 TSI 165 kW). This is operated in the same way.

Jun 5, 2013 · Just to clarify, on cars with Climatronic the J293 fan control module does control the AC compressor clutch along with the two cooling fans and the electric water pump if fitted. I will update this post when I have installed the new module.
