2023年4月4日 · Also, I knew of adapter plates for the J engines (an absolute jewel of a v6) but often to weirdly under-strength boxes (a certain Miata conversion) and VW boxes for sand rails and others, but they were all wonky. This is the first I heard they were making one for the S2K box. This opens up possibilities for the Locost community for sure.
honda v6 engines any good? : r/Honda - Reddit
Overall they are easier to work on and cheaper to repair and maintain than a V6 (few spark plugs, fewer seals and gaskets, easier to get to things). The I4 auto transmissions are more reliable than the V6 auto transmissions but if I had the I4 I would want a manual for faster acceleration (I'm coming from a 94 Accord manual as my previous car).
