2016年1月5日 · As far as oil burning, the J-series engines aren't nearly as bad as some of the older 4-cylinders. Not saying they never burn oil, it's just not nearly as common of a problem. One thing to check is the rear main seal. We've seen quite a few of them leak, specifically in TLs. It's not an easy fix as it requires pulling the transmission to replace.
