2016年11月7日 · My apologies if there is a thread on the the fault code I am getting "Control Module 2 for Trunk Lid (J756)". The Liftgate closes but doesn't latch. I replaced the Liftgate Lock Actuator but that didnt solve the problem. Is it actually the liftgate motor or could it be the sensors by the strike plate? Any help greatly appreciated.

2009年4月5日 · I'm assuming the J605 rear lid control module 1 is the left one and the J756 rear lid control module 2 is the right one. In either case, the J605 has the 8-pin plug and the J756 has the 10-pin plug.

2013年9月5日 · I've come across a issue with a 2012 Q5 2.0T Premium Plus, where the Power trunk will not Lift or shut itself. The outside button will pop the tailgate a few hairs open, but it will not lift itself. The inside "tailgate close" button is not working to close the tailgate on itself aswell.

2019年1月18日 · These J605 and J756 ecus are integrated in the tailgate moving motor housing, one of them is left side, the other one is the right, they are connected by a single wire bus with each other. Because you changed only one of the motors, you were not that lucky, and got a different software/hardware version as the old one was.

The tailgate control units and drives J605 and J756 have been adopted from the Audi A6 Avant. The software was adapted to the Audi Q7 tailgate, which, for example, has a different opening angle than the Audi A6 Avant tailgate. The tailgate control operating concept is identical to that described in SSP 344.
