2018年1月12日 · If you search the main 4722N thread you will likely get some hits. From memory from reading previous comparisons, the 4722 have better compression drivers and sound better overall. They both would do well for HT but if you are into any kind of music (even blu ray concerts) the 4722's would quickly separate themselves. 2021年3月24日 · Here is a list of parts you'd need: JBL 4722 Crossover 442144-001 JBL 2384 Waveguide Compression Drivers: JBL 2453h-sl, 2452h-sl or 2450h-sl (all discontinued but can be found if you look hard enough) Woofers: 265h-sl (stock), 2265h, 2225h or 2226h will work with the stock crossover (haven't personally used the 2265h)

2015年11月13日 · Building a new home theater and want to use 5 JBL 4722n's or 5 QSC 2150. The QSC's are a bit cheaper but I cannot listen to either because of limited availability. Has anyone have any incite or have heard both? I appreciate any response. Thanks!

2017年6月13日 · I bought the parts off of @beastaudio early this year which consist of the JBL 4722n network, horn and the upgraded 2453H-SL CDs as well as 2225h's for the midbass woofers. I decided to build the bass cabinets according to the JBL spec which was 10cu-ft enclosures tuned to 40hz per driver pair.

2008年12月29日 · For surrounds maybe take a look at some of the newer JBL cinema surrounds? At one point I ran 4722N's for LCR and 708i's as surrounds in a 7.1.4 system and it sounded great to me. Regarding the big 3 way 5732 I say go for it if you have the distance! I don't recall anyone on this site using them.

2016年11月8日 · Looks like JBL doesn't make them anymore, but you can still find them on ebay and amazon sometimes. I bought mine on sale for 79 a pair a couple years ago to go with my 4722n LCR thinking what the heck, they are so cheap I'll just try it and I'm glad I did.

2023年8月14日 · I used 2226H's purchased at $189 each and the 2452H with the SL diaphragms from Speaker Exchange. If you do decide to stay with the stock 2432H CD, I think it makes more sense to buy the 4722N-HF complete high frequency section and get everything together with a crossover container and brackets but I was committed to the 2452H-SL.
