2008年12月8日 · I recently inherited another 18" JBL sub, utilizing a 2241 driver in a roughly 8 cubic foot enclosure. It sounds nearly identical to my B460 sub. Along with it I was given a very nice BX63A crossover. I pulled my basic BX63 unit from my main system, and replaced it with the newly acquired BX63A.

As I understand it, the BX63A is not only an electronic crossover, but also a special voltage drive, which boosts the signal to the 2245h at a specific place, and therefore gets the response that the B460 offers.

JBL BX63A crossover for B460 sub. Yeah, it's probably easier to either build one yourself or have one built for you. I'm buried otherwise I'd whip one out for you. I've posted the schematics numerous times. I think I also posted how to modify the 5234A/5235 to do the same thing. We should probably make up a bunch of new circuit boards.

2020年6月7日 · Price is for 1. Comes with hard to find BX63A external crossover, with special AC/AC adapter. The electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with same type. Factory JBL 2245H. Factory cones, both have been refoamed recently. No issues in functionality. Wood cabinet has a few scars here and there, nothing major. Grills are in very nice condition.
