But still, a surround setup with 5 Everests or K2s and a few thousand watts would have been worthy of a listening session and prolly the most popular. Seems to me like the K2 9900 is a match made in heaven as center/surround for the Everest II.

2006年5月4日 · Looking forward to run them with an Yamaha MX-D1 Class D 2x500W amp. The speakers are for 80% HT, 20% Music so the availability of a matched center is essential. "Stick with a horn type speaker" - Anybody know of an allaround "better" one than the K2 9800SE? I don't think "old stuff" like Altec 7s or Klipsch LaScala, Klipschorn can touch it.

2013年1月17日 · The only other current JBL horn speakers that can even come close to the Everest are the K2 9900 and the Arrays. In fact the 500 series is closer to the Arrays being both have vertical aligned horns.

2003年5月27日 · The JBL K2 S9800 speaker. Now, for the price that JBL is asking for these things, and from what they are saying about it, it looks as if they positioning these as an audiophile reference grade speaker.

2009年8月24日 · The K2 S9900 replace the K2 S9800 models. The new models are said to outperform the 9800's. I've heard the 9800's and are similiar to the Everest but look nicer to me. I haven't heard the 9900's yet.
