Since 1972, the Jewish Community Council of the Rockaway Peninsula (JCCRP) has been providing services on a non-sectarian basis to those in need and advocating issues of concern to the community. We offer information and referral services about community activities & resources.

Tzippy holds a BA in Psychology from Touro College. She is the MCCAP coordinator who helps people navigate the health care system, complex coverage rules, complaints and appeals processes, and medical bills. She is also a general case manager who assists and advocates for our clients at the JCCRP.

Senator Joseph Addabbo (D-Rock- away), Assemblyman Phillip Goldfeder (D-Rockaway), Councilman Donovan Richards (D-Far Rockaway), and the Jewish Community Council of the Rockaway Peninsula (JCCRP) held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, July 22nd for the unveiling of the JCCRP’s newly retrofitted “Client Choice Pantry.”

To meet these increased needs, the JCCRP’s food pantry provides food packages to close to 1,800 residents a month. Our holistic approach to our food pantry provides clients food, access to SNAP enrollment and emergency food vouchers to supermarkets.
