Connect the JD-Xi to your computer using a standard USB cable.

System version 1.10 added the ability to export and import Programs (sounds and pattern data) that you create on the JD-Xi to a computer. Exported data can also be imported back into the JD-Xi and there are now 8 extra banks (labelled S-Z) available for importing Programs.

2017年10月6日 · The JD-Xi is my main drum machine, bass machine and vocal effects processor. I used to sequence it with a Beatstep Pro but I sold it, now I use G-Stomper in my Android phone and is working nicely. Like you, I didnt liked the majority of the presets, but using the pc editor you can design your own sounds pretty easy.

2016年5月14日 · Swap the TR8 for a JD-Xi, now with the latest firmware the JD-Xi even has swing so it makes the TR8 completely redundant, while also giving you a mono-analog and more SN voices than the JD-XA has (128 vs. 64). I still want a JD-XA though, if Roland ever makes a desktop/rack version of the JD-XA I'll be unable to resist it.
