2021年2月10日 · Then someone dropped a K24a in there. The ECU of the k20a3 got a Hondata board. As you are in California, you either need to convert it all back to a k20a3 and its original ECU or you need to complete the conversion with all emissions related parts and the ECU of the K24a. And then have it approved by a SMOG referee. The K24a is a JDM engine.

I've somewhat got things lined up with a local "JDM" engine distributor for a purchase and swap into my accord for a somewhat reasonable price... However, after searching for days, i cant seems to find too much information about how this k24a engine compares to the TSX k24a2 engine.

2022年11月6日 · Agreed, my stock JDM K24A makes great power too. The only mods it has is an 06-08 intake cam, RSX oil pump, OEM oil cooler, OEM block heater, and Accord cable throttle body since the electronic one wouldn't work for my application. Other than a header and exhaust that will work in my chassis, I don't plan on any more significant engine mods.

2023年6月1日 · On my JDM K24a I got a CRV housing and pump from a junk yard for $30. Water pump was in great shape so Im running it, could just get the housing and buy a new pump. Then you can run a USDM alternator. If you do this make sure to also get the two studs that hold the housing on as they are different from the JDM housing studs.

2024年1月3日 · yea those rare version inbetween engine change jdm K24A stamped K24Z engines go by "K24A R40" to tame confusion. RBB3's are also found in sub 06 model k24a's too. In my ongoing research on this topic, it does appear RBB4's (USDM & Internationally) arguably were only made in the 06-08 year range while RBB1/2/3 exist in all 03-08 year ranges.
