The JL8 option was available on any Camaro model; the cost was $500.30 for SS or Z28 models and $623.50 for non-SS non-Z28 models. All JL8 cars received the 15x7

A genuine X33 Z28 built at the Norwood assembly plant, it is one of only 206 1969 Camaros equipped with the famed JL8 4-wheel power disc brake option which, at $500.30, added more to the cost of a Camaro than the Z28 option package in its entirety.

2008年8月3日 · I was interested in the car a couple of years ago but never got enough evidence of it being a JL8 L89 car. It appears to be original JL8 components on the car but it's tough to tell if they were added or there originally.

2000年6月26日 · The JL-8 was the option code for rear disc brakes - very rare option. It was offered on models other than the Z-28 as well. I would think that an original JL-8 car would be worth more than a car that had a JL-8 rear axle swapped in.
