Our version of the classic Marshall JTM-45 amplifier, circa 1965. The JTM45 (Marshall's first amplifier) was Jim's version of Leo Fender's 5F6A Tweed Bassman amplifier. The circuits were nearly identical, but the JTM45 had a beefier power supply, and when used with KT66's & a 4x12 cab, this amp had a British voice all it's own!

Part of Marshall's Vintage Series, the JTM45 amp head is an exact re-creation of the legendary amp from the '60s. Also known as the 2245, the JTM45 packs three ECC83 preamp tubes and a pair of 5881 power tubes for incredible tonal prowess. You also get the revered GZ34 tube rectifier, which is responsible for the JTM45's smooth, singing quality.

This is a Tube Depot JTM 45+ Guitar Amplifier kit that I assembled in 2018. I'm almost positive that this is the same kit that Mojotone sells with a few mods. I did not rush and checked and rechecked the schematic and every solder joint before moving on.
