2024年6月1日 · I have a 1970 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe. I have 15"x10" 4.75BS 295/50 15. I have air shocks because I want a little lift and raked look. I don't need it to go up all the way they go but just want a little height that stock shock doesn't give. I tried to buy new air shocks at Auto Zone and O'Reilly's but they don't sell them.

2006年8月5日 · I have jacked it up many times, from the side, from the front, from the rear... Never had a problem... I have even opened the doors while the car was only one jack stand... Never a problem... If there was a problem "jacking" the car, then there would most likely be a problem with the car sitting on the suspension anyway...

2016年6月21日 · Enough to where the shocks are hitting the spring . The driver side shock has a hole rubbed through it. Looking at pictures and from what I can remember this is really messed up? The lower trailing arms are boxed and 22" like I've researched. So I'm at a loss. Hopefully mines not messed up. Here's some pics of ride height and the problem.

2010年4月14日 · In my day a shackled up car meant that extended rear spring shackles were used on leaf springs to give the car a different stance. In fact in 1972 I shackled up a 72 'Cuda I had. Looked good handled like crap. Looks like I am the odd man out. I knew exactly what he meant. My father in law to be always called my 'Cuda, shackled up. Jim
