TzTok-Jad was the strongest monster in the game for almost three years. Its name can be roughly translated to "Obsidian fire elemental". Players must fight TzTok-Jad on their own, without the use of Summoning creatures or a dwarf multicannon for assistance.

Completing the Fight Caves involves fighting through 62 waves of progressively more difficult combinations of monster spawns before taking on the final boss, Tz-Tok Jad. If the player tries to log out in the cave, the game will log them out at the end of the ongoing wave.

Jad slams his front legs to the ground for Ranged, and he rears up dangling his front legs for Magic. Survival depends on watching TzTok-Jad's movements - an emote precedes the attack, telling the player which protection Prayer to use.
