2018年9月24日 · There were three reasons to buy an XK120 fixed-head coupe in 1951: styling, performance and price. The styling should be rather self-evident, and the performance–at least the engine performance, which we’ll get to later–was legendary.

The Fixed Head Coupe was available at a fraction of the cost when compared to the Drop Head Coupe and Roadster, and was still less than a third of the price of the most comparable Ferrari. Its 3.4L water-cooled inline-six engine offered 160hp and a 0 to 60 time of less than 12 seconds.
