Jack Viney (born 13 April 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A midfielder, 1.78 metres (5 ft 10 in) tall and weighing 86 kilograms (190 lb), Viney is capable of contributing as both an inside and outside midfielder.

The heart-and-soul midfielder, former club captain and son of Melbourne Great Todd Viney is a Demon for life after spurning rival interest and extending his contract until 2028. Viney is a midfield warrior, now sitting third in club history for contested possessions and holding the all-time record for tackles.

2024年1月16日 · We are delighted to announce that highly rated keeper Jake Viney has rejoined the club. He will replace Shay Allen who has moved to our Toolstation premier rivals Nailsea and Tickenham. Jake, 30, left Bridgwater United – also in the Toolstation premier – before Christmas having played more than 300 games for them over eight years.

Jake was a goalkeeper at Exeter City's Centre of Excellence from 2003 becoming a trainee in 2010 and, in August 2011, was on the bench for City's Football League Trophy game against Plymouth Argyle. Released in April 2012, he then played for Western League Wellington where, in 2014/15, he won the Manager's Player of the Year trophy.
