Jamal Uddin Ahmed (born 1955) is a Bangladeshi artist and professor. [1] In recognition of his contribution to fine arts, the government of Bangladesh awarded him the country's second highest civilian award Ekushey Padak in 2019.

Jamal Ahmed paintings often focus on the beauty of nature and the wide range of human emotions, including ecstasy, bliss, longing, pain, and yearning. Ahmed has done a teaching residency at the North Carolina State University, USA, and is a professor at the Department of Drawing & Painting of University of Dhaka under Faculty of Fine Art.
