Developed by a group of national pharmacy organizations working under the direction of JCPP. The process is applicable to any practice setting where pharmacists provide patient care and for any patient care service provided by pharmacists.

JCPP’s mission is to serve as a convening organization to address topics impacting the profession of pharmacy. The Joint Commission facilitates effective representation of pharmacists on professional, educational, legislative and regulatory issues through analysis, interpretation, communication and exchange of views on relevant issues.
