The Renault Fuego (Fire in Spanish) is a sport hatchback that was manufactured and marketed by Renault from 1980 to 1986, replacing the Renault 15 and 17 coupés of the 1970s. Marketed in the United States by American Motors Corporation (AMC), the Fuego was also assembled in several countries in South America, where production continued until 1992.

2013年11月11日 · For 1984, Renault introduced a revised base model Fuego, which now included a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine good for 110 horsepower. That made the Fuego Turbo a bit redundant; after all, why would consumers pay thousands more for a car that offered little additional performance and no more amenities?

Renault Fuego was a four-seater coupé: in other words, it looked sporty but had passenger seats in the rear. To give it a really spacious feel, the car offered an optional electric canvas sunroof. The Turbo version of Renault Fuego was boosted by a turbocharged engine delivering 132 hp (pretty good going!).
