2022年2月25日 · Nope. That's exactly why you are receiving phone calls & text messages. You are connected either via BlueTooth or Plug-in. My phone automatically connects via BlueTooth when entering the Jeep and I receive all calls, messages & texts.

2019年3月1日 · What is funny to me is that phone calls work just fine, music plays through just fine. The only thing that doesn't work correctly is the new text message announcement. The part that stinks the most about that is that when the phone is connected to the Jeep, it does not play a sound when a text message comes in because it is set to Bluetooth.

Originally I turned on "Notifications" in the UConnect menu on my iPhones Bluetooth settings, this allowed my text messages to go thru the UConnect system. I know that this may sound like a pain, but it's much safer than trying to text while driving (which is something that really blows me away to see, someones head looking down at their phone trying to text on the freeway and going 40 mph or less not to mention the occasional weave into another lane).

2015年3月10日 · The Uconnect on the 430N radio in my 2015 JKUR is driving me bat shit crazy. I like to listen to the music on my phone through the Bluetooth. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5. But I hate it when somebody is pestering me with text messages and the Jeep kills the music and goes through that long, drawn out notification.

2024年11月13日 · This is a Iphone software thing. When my phone updated a couple of weeks ago it changed. If you're on carplay screen the notification will pop up as normal. If you're on the stock vehicle screen you'll pnly get an audible sound. You'll then have to go to carplay, then go into the text messages.
