2010年5月8日 · This is my diy jeep top lift. It works great!! And the best part is It only takes one person to lift it off and store it. It uses 2 straps tied from each end to the back in a v under the top. I used I- bolts instead of pullies because it works just as good and is the fraction of the price. The key to this being a one man is the trailer winch.

2016年2月11日 · I was looking at replacing my old rusty lift gate on my Cj7 hardtop. I cant seem to find a place on the internet that sells them. I have been able to find multiple websites that sell all the hardware and everything else for them besides the metal frame for the lift gate itself. The JL and JT Rubicon and Mojave can run 35's on the stock suspension just fine. 2-2.5" of lift is good for 35's. This is the typical lift height most JK/JL/JT owners go with as it's a good mix of looks, functionality and price.

2004年7月4日 · Basically, I screwed some heavy duty bicycle hooks into the ceiling joists and used the ratchet straps to lift it off the Jeep. This works very well, but there a two things I don't like about it. First, I can't lift it all the way to the ceiling using this method because the straps fill the ratchet and it wont go any higher.

2010年7月31日 · So what's the latest poop on replacement lift gates for factory CJ hardtops? I'd love to hear about successful lift gate repairs/replacements. The gate on my '81 CJ is so leaky that now my rear floor pan is rusting out. I'd try to patch the holes in the lower corners, but I'm afraid the whole thing will crumble when I remove the glass.

2012年7月26日 · I attached the top with 2 ratchet straps going in an X from the back bottom corners and the back of the door openings. cranked it up to the rafter till it was snug and all done.. Tomorrow I'm going to add a chain at the top of both pulleys around the rafter for a back up and 2 chains under the hard top incase it falls. Thanks for all you help!!
