2021年1月1日 · You folks still happy with your Jelco TK-850L tonearms? I considered the 10.5" Audiomods VI, and even tried to convince Jeff to make a 12" one--no dice. At the end of the day with Jelco recently going under, the price on these arms is fairly reasonable...pretty great compared to similar Origin Live, Schick or even the Audiomods arm.

2025年1月30日 · Fantastic tonearm with excellent knife edge bearings. The soundstage this gave with a variety of cartridges (Zu/Denon, Grado, Benz Micro all worked beautifully for me) was huge, and the arm helped give deep dark backgrounds and solid bass. It’s a great arm for decks from vintage Garrards to modern Dr. Feickerts and beyond.

Simple mechanism create good reproduction sound. The tonearm geometry allows for a Baerwald alignments which is IEC recommendations. This universal type counterweight can be used from 17 to 35 grs cartridge weight including head shell. TK-850L is fitted with a standard head shell and can easily be changed with other standard head shell (cartridge).

2020年4月14日 · Highs are sweet and accurate, mids are well-defined with subtle textures clearly present and in correct proportion. The arm has excellent detail resolution even in the more subtle soundstage ques and instrument nuances. Small and large dynamics are very good with tight timing. No detectable ringing or resonances to deal with.

The 12" Jelco MKII arm is a spectaculiar performer, however, its location on my plinth is not convenient for use as a primary tonearm, so hunted down a new 10" 'M' MKII 850 arm from the States what will directly fit my 750E armboard, thus I'm now selling the 12" 'L' Mk II arm.
