Jing: King of Bandits (Japanese: 王ドロボウJING, Hepburn: Ō Dorobō Jing, lit. "King of Bandit Jing"), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuichi Kumakura. The series was originally serialized in Kodansha 's Comic Bom Bom magazine from 1995 to 1998; the publisher later collected the individual chapters into seven tankōbon volumes.

2004年1月21日 · Jing, the infamous King of Bandits, finds himself and his feathered partner Kir behind bars in Seventh Heaven, the most notorious prison complex in the world. There, they seek to steal the Dream Orb from the convict Campari. But before doing so, they must escape from the prison of dreams that Campari has conjured for them.

Jing, a bright-eyed youth is often underestimated, when in fact he is a very skilled master thief. On his travels from town to town he is accompanied by his trusted womanising bird-companion Kir, who can transform into a lethal weapon, the Kir Royale, when the need arises.

Instead of using the tight confines of the prison to deliver an action-packed ride, Jing in 7th Heaven leverages Campari's collection to tell three different stories that like to pretend that they relate to each other.
