2005年7月20日 · My fave Julian Lennon CD is "The Secret Value of Daydreaming". I also have "Valotte" and Mr. Jordan", but Daydreaming really stuck with me. The closing track "Want Your Body" reminded me of John's slower songs. I think I heard Sean's album once.

2005年7月20日 · Julian Lennon's cover of the Dave Clark Five's "Because" is great! I don't think it is available on CD yet. Valotte surely sounds very much like a John Lennon's song. It's a great song by Julian. I don't care for Sean's music.

2009年3月29日 · The answer is he only had a reasonable debut album, Valotte, cause of the power house producer involved, Phil Ramone. The only way a new artist like that gets to work with this level of production is if his last name is Lennon. Nepotism had more to do with this first album being made than anything else.

2009年3月29日 · Valotte is pretty much a classic album from start to finish. I think all 10 songs flow perfectly from one to another. I even like "Jesse", which is the only song on the album Julian didn't have a hand in writing. Phil Ramone did a great job on this album. There are some great musicians on this album.

2009年3月29日 · Julian's problems.....being a Lennon had to play some part in this. HIGH expectations. When Valotte came out, I could have sworn it was John's outtakes and not Julian. Also, have heard that Julian liked to "party" a little too much now and then. Surprised that Photograph Smile didn't do well. Always thought it was a good album.

2015年6月22日 · Listening to the track on the car stereo at lunchtime today, it sounds pretty much as fresh as the first time it blew me away on the radio back in '84. And then "Too Late For Goodbyes" was an excellent follow-up and the entire Valotte album was pretty solid. But then, Julian he seemed to have lost his way, both direction-wise and commercially.
