Jye Amiss (/ ˈeɪməs / AY-məs; [2] born 31 July 2003) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Amiss grew up in Busselton, Western Australia. He played football for the Busselton Football Club in the South West Football League. [3]

Still just 21 years old, Amiss enters his fourth season at Fremantle after putting on significant size over the off-season. With only 47 career games to his name, the key forward heads into 2025 having recorded consecutive seasons with 35 or more goals.

The 20-year-old kicked 41 goals in his first full season in 2023 and gave every indication he is the key forward the Dockers can build their attack around for the next decade. He averaged 1.3 contested marks a game. And he’s not going anywhere, having signed a contract extension to keep him at Fremantle until at least 2029. # 8 2021 National Draft.
