The K&A Gang, or the Northeast Philly Irish Mob, is a predominantly Irish American criminal network based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The K&A Gang was started following World War II and controlled the city's Irish-American criminal underworld for much of the late 20th century.

2016年4月24日 · Known as the “K & A gang,” (sometimes known as Philly’s “Irish mob"), they took their name from the Kensington and Allegheny avenues intersection in the heart of the city’s Kensington section. To most neighborhood residents, they were basically considered a gang of young punks — high school dropouts who hung out in bars or on street corners.

Sure, they murder, steal, traffick in drugs and weapons, and generally flout most moral conventions held by civilized society; but they do it in suits and ties, hold the door for people, and always tip their hats.
