K-Mag, or potassium magnesium sulfate, is 100 percent water soluble and will work immediately upon application provided there is enough soil moisture to support crop growth. It contains less than 2.5 percent chloride to help prevent fertilizer burn and has a neutral pH, meaning K-Mag will not change soil pH regardless of application rate.
