(Japanese: けいおん!, Hepburn: Keion!)[c] is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Kakifly. Produced by Kyoto Animation, it aired in Japan between April and June 2009. An additional original video animation (OVA) episode was released in January 2010.

In an unspecified part of Japan, four high school girls join the light music club of the all-girls private Sakuragaoka High School to try to save it from being disbanded. However, they are the only members of the club.
