2021年6月14日 · Check my k03+ review for the OEM turbo compression. Benefits: The K04+ has larger billet compressor and larger turbine wheel thus better flow than what I was getting out of the K03+. Whereas the K03+ turbo is designed to be a bolt on replacement for your IHI turbo, the K04+ is designed to be a K04 with some added benefits.

2020年3月1日 · Stock k03 wastegates are loud as hell fluttering away to save their own lives, but feels smooth and like light work for the k03+ on stage 2 tunes. The stock airbox could now be a bottleneck to the car, i will get an intake soon enough, but the stock airbox is fine for anything the stock turbo is going to request, power-wise.

2013年12月14日 · There's just not enough mass air flow. The stock turbo doesn't have it. There's more available from the stock turbo cal than people thought for many years. On FSI stock turbo, 15whp/25wtrq more on Stage 2+ compared to the big 4. It remains to be seen, but it looks like that can be duplicated on the TSI.

2020年3月1日 · True, but not necessarily an apples to apples comparison. For $2700 you get a genuine Borg Warner turbo and K04 tune/software.Pretty sure the Shuenk K03+ is similar in construction to the F23T and other non-Borg Warner K04s which can be had anywhere from the ~700 range on up.

2020年3月1日 · The turbo runs great on both software you get more low end punch with the IE stg 2 but the pull on the K04 software is impressive for a small body turbo. But it has its limit like the top end drops off after 6000 due to maxing out its capabilities
