2006年6月5日 · 93 was first year of K1100LT. That year had the 450 W alternator and "some" customer complained about foot peg vibrations. 94 had the police 700w alternator upgrade and a rubber mount for the foot peg mounts. So 94 to 97 are pretty much the same. If you get a really good deal on a 93, don't fret.

2010年6月26日 · I hope you don't like to go very fast. The rear end will feel much less planted at speed on bias ply tires. On bias ply tires the K1100LT rear end tends to float around a little, very noticeable at speed on sweepers. Go check out the K1100 forum. Lots of people there have been running 150/70-17 radial rears for a long, long time.

2007年11月15日 · Hey! Got a big speeding ticket on a K1100LT the first time I spent some real time on one. I was very suprised how nimble it was for it's size. Very nice wind protection, comfort etc. It would be hard for me to choose between the LT and RS. Good luck! Baldness

2003年8月1日 · Can someone tell me what would be the highest safe draw for aux. driving lights on a BMW K1100LT with the High Beam on? I am thinking of custom installation of PIAA lamps which are switchable from driving to fog lights. I figure I will put them on top of the crash bars, I like the low angle and will keep the mesh stone sheilds. Any suggestions?

2014年4月4日 · Sooo have been looking at a well sorted k1200rs and a k1100lt.I am 61 (young at heart and a few other organs)6'3" tall,under 200lbs.Just have had one k bike 75c its attached to a sidecar and i in joy it immensely. Kinda like the classic k , Only a few miles on a k1200rs,felt aggressive in seating,but great power ,smooth..Thoughts? thanks

The brakes are good it has heated grips ,throttle lock,electronically adjustable windshield,abs. Side panniers with factory waterproof liners top box and a factory extra light kit and tire repair kit. Asking $2495 OBO.
