2023年11月25日 · Just completed a rear fan swap on a k1 max to a Noctua NF-R8 redux- 1800 80 x 80 x 25 using the Noctua NA-VC1 voltage converter. There's much less noise now and it was relatively easy to do. With the printer powered off removed the old fan 4 screws from rear put the screws somewhere for safe keeping as there not reused.

For those who want to use the new design, just use the file named "NEW UPDATED - Airflow Redirector Rear Fan Cover" and that should work for K1, K1SE and K1C printers. If the FAN has a metal grill, please remove it as it will not be needed.

2024年9月2日 · Exhaust Fan Cover: This will prevent loose filament from being sucked in and damaging the fan blades. To Install: Simply remove screws, put in place, and then reinstall the screws to the case. Unlike a friction fit, by being screwed on, it will not fall off. Print with: Recommend PETG; could use PLA.
