2024年6月13日 · On the K1C do how do you access the mother board? Only the movement sensor, to be precise, but if the filament ends-up, will be detected as “not moving” and the printer get in pause. You don’t need to access the motherboard in order to connect the new sensor.

If you want to move the filament and the runout sensor to the right side of the K1 or K1C printer, you can install the sensor on this base. You need 4pc M3x10 srew and 2pc M3 nut. ATTENTION! Do not use a longer screws, otherwise it will stick inside the printer! Print the base and put the nuts in bottom of base.

2024年8月30日 · I bought the AI Lidar Sensor for AliExpress and had done the USB connection from the motherboard to the printhead board and further the connection to the sensor. I was able to enable the AI settings on the panel of my K1C. But the printer does not use the sensor.

I cracked it open and made sure that the optical sensor was clean, and reinstalled it. Ever since then, it will not detect if the filament runs out at all, and send the signal to stop the print. The LED that shows that it shows that it should be working fine, dimming when filament is present and becoming bright when it is without it.

I tried installing the helper script on my K1SE, copied the K1C configs to my K1SE config file (/usr/share/klipper/config/K1C_CR4CU220812S12/ to /usr/data/printer_data/config/), but I don't have any of the fans or sensors the K1C has. Rather my K1SE is stock.
