Assume it has the necessary valve springs / RR3 cams and I will be tuning the runner length on the dyno. Joe McCarthy was of the view that given the port size (47mm equivalent) you needed a minimum of 54mm to account for the flow loss due to the plate, shaft etc.

2008年3月11日 · A plenum design, with adjustable plenum displacement, and adjustable runner length would be the tits. The same plenum for a K20, may suck on a k24. With ITB's you can adjust the lengths and size to your application. Spacers, air horns, throttle body size.

2011年5月16日 · I also have a K24A1 block sitting in my garage, but an hesitant to spend the money to build it now since my K20 bottom end is minty fresh with OEM 11.5 compression and just a great overall race motor. For now, I want to add to my current setup to make some more ponies, and some more mid-range power if possible.

2014年3月21日 · Keep in mind that people were making nice gains with homemade itb setups (using gsxr itbs) on d-series and b-series setups... So you don't need a wild build, or $3k itbs to get results... Also, kind of curious about the previous comment from the_unknown that the 52mm itb is too small for k-series... That really doesn't sound right...

2011年8月3日 · a bit of this varies. it depends on the craziness of your motor, what ITB's you use, who tuned it, the atmosphere your car is in/out of, and how often you fiddle with the ITB's, keeping them maintained. I think there are quite a few people driving around weekend warriors with ITB's though so you should get some good info back.

I am sure having ITB is crisp, the ram air will make it better.Thanks for sharing the pictures. I miss my EP3. I had nice parts on it and the car performed well on the road course. 300HP was nice too with 209WTQ.
