2017年7月23日 · The K20A2 and K20Z1 heads have the exact same casting (PRB), the only difference are the cams (Z1 has K20A ITR cams). The K20Z3 (RBC) head has the different coolant port. You can put any of the three heads above on your block (as long as its not K24Zx, which I don't think it would be since it's JDM).

2020年10月10日 · The z3 head was the right choice, z1 is the same as a2 with the water port on the front of the head and not the side. The z3 head is only a few cfm behind the PRB type s casting. It may not hurt to keep the k20 cams in case you do forced induction down the road and like those better.

2008年2月28日 · I'd go for the K20Z1 head because of the better cams and lower mileage given your choice. But in my particular case, I went with the K20Z3. I'm swapping out the cams anyway. Just bought 2 sets of Toruku cams! One for my RSX-S (02-04) and one for my Del Sol (K20Z3 engine and tranny).

The K20Z1 is a high-rev version of the K20A2 engine. It was produced in 2005 and 2006 years. Here you can find the same PRB intake manifold, but a new exhaust manifold, high-performance camshafts, and increased up to 11.0:1 compression ratio.

2021年9月16日 · You actually have a full k20z1. If you had a z3 head, the upper coolant passage would be part of the intake manifold. The prb intake manifold doesn’t have the upper coolant passage built in and it came stock on any of the rsx type s no matter what year.

2023年3月18日 · I recently saw info on making some serious NA gains by swapping the k20z1 block with a tsx k24a2 (he sounded like you could just drop it in as OEM and make up to 30-50hp, I’ll provide link in the comments).
