2010年3月27日 · Anyway, your Si is tight man and there is a lot of potential just waiting to be unleashed in that motor. Lots of people with cams are getting 250hp. With an intake manifold port and polish, some are getting close to 275 hp along with a header like Skunk2 and a 3" exhaust. Glad to see a nicely tuned Si here on the forum!

Anyhow, I should not argue about some 10HP here , especially to the wheels. Rubber compound and axle weight alone could move that figure up or down a couple of HP. Then add slight different calibration norms.

For an otherwise stock motor you'll be a lot better off getting cams + springs and retainers, before a ported head. Stock motor's with mild cams will make 240+ whp on a dynojet.
