The Red Line is the Final Run that made the most power the next morning when he cleaned up ignition and timing and we even Dared to bump up the RPM to 8400RPM because the motor seemed to want a just a bit more RPM.

2016年9月19日 · The goal was to show off what can be done with a stock K24A2 engine (2004-2008 TSX) in the Miata chassis, as well as test out a couple new parts. All tunes are done with the common 50 degree VTC intake cam gear swap instead of the 25 degree stock TSX unit. Each combo was fully tuned, we weren't just bolting on parts and doing dyno pulls.

2021年12月8日 · I had it tuned by my dad, we decided to put it on the mustang dyno at my job's shop. It ended up making surprising numbers for the mods it has. 215whp may seem low but since this is a mustang dynamometer, it tends to read 12-15% lower than your typical DynoJet. If you take these wheel numbers and convert them by only 12% that is 241whp and 211wtq.

The head was modified originally to house a JRSC manifold normally fitted for the K20 head so the below DIY will cover mods needed to fit a K20 head.

2010年3月8日 · Hey guys, we've been getting a few questions here on our K series swap for the Miata lately, so I wanted to share some dyno testing we did back in September. Our previous setup was a simple k24 bottom end (2.4L), k20 head (from an RSX Type S), with big cams, making 248whp, 189 wtq.

In this last dyno graph you can see that there are sections where the non spaced plenum does better, and then some sections where the manifold with the spacer does better. There wasn’t a defined superior combo until 7300rpm where the Ultra Race with the plenum spacer clearly makes more horsepower and more torque.
